On the 2nd of April Dmitry Medvedev signed the Federal Law that aims to strengthen administrative responsibility for violation of the rules of international trucking. As a result of these changes the penalties for illegal use of the vehicles that are registered in other states to transport goods and passengers, as well as for the implementation of international trucking without special permission have increased. At the same time, the foreign trucks may also be held administratively liable not only at the moment of crossing the state border, but also on the territory of the Russian Federation.
